Humanity’s got a lot of love to give this week, writes LBB’s Alex Reeves
Can you feel the love? I know Valentine’s Day was three months ago, but this week the world’s best advertising has served up billets-doux in spades.

In the UK, AMV BBDO’s love letter is to pubs and a perfectly poured pint of the black stuff - Brits have been waiting for the pubs to reopen and on Monday good things with creamy white foam on top will finally be coming to those who’ve waited oh so long. Mother’s voiced another passion of the British public too - fried chicken seasoned with 11 herbs and spices, how we love you. Uncommon’s ode is to TV drama, The Martin Agency’s is to post-lockdown freedom and adam&eveDDB’s ode is to gaming with friends.

Meanwhile in Thailand, Wunderman Thompson is voicing the nation’s love for the twice-cancelled Songkran water-splashing festival with an interactive TikTok film. VMLY&R Italy manifests the world’s love for the punk-rock energy of our mothers. In the US, VaynerMedia’s spot for Pepsi presents us with a yearning many of us never knew we had - for mess.

Check out all these creative love letters below.
