Friends Play a Never-Ending Game of 'Best Of...' in Action-Packed PlayStation Plus Spot

In adam&eveDDB's advertising spot for PlayStation Plus, Sony brings to life the endless challenges you experience when playing online with friends.  

The spot was directed by The Mob's Paul W. S. Anderson, who recently directed the feature movie based on the popular video game Monster Hunter. 

We follow two friends as they battle each other through a multitude of gaming worlds, each trying to beat the other and neither wanting the fun to end they play an ever increasing game of ‘Best of…’.

We open on one of our hero characters in a futuristic battlefield, she is blasted with a laser gun by her friend and we think she has been taken down but suddenly sits bolt upright and says to her friend : “Best of 3?” 

Next we see our characters  playing football, one scores a winning goal and admitting defeat  her friend says :“Best of 5?” 

Next in a battle destroyed warehouse we see the two friends in a standoff. As one  fires the other says “Best of 9?”

Now in a jungle one of our friends  notices a laser target directly on her, she is done for – “Best of 11?”

In a western setting we see a grenade at the foot of one of our friend. We cut to a wide of an epic cliff landscape where thousands of arrows are raining from above towards one of our heroes “Best of 25”

Now we see a monster crashing through a forest, one of our heroes flying through the air trying to attack the monster while shouting “just give up” as a fireball erupts. Narrowly escaping the fire, the other friend shouts “Never!”

Finally we see both friends, one steps on a landmine, we think it is all over as the other is about to shoot, but then she also steps on a landmine. They both look at each other and laugh and say “Best of!”
