Mellor&Smith, the agency of record for Mango Bikes, have created another integrated campaign.
Mango Bikes makes bikes for the ‘non-cyclist’, colourful, completely customisable and affordable. They are fun and feisty.
BBC research, in which Mango were quoted, showed a ‘boom’ in bikes sales. Running in September 2020, the campaign was focussed on the non-cyclist looking for a bike to commute on.
Mellor&Smith’s outdoor campaign shows two of Mango’s most colourful bikes, with 'Commuticise' as the headline.
The work was written and art directed by James Smith and Max Cannon.
The outdoor campaign launched in late September across the UK. Aimed at the residential areas where commuters are close enough to work that cycling is an option.
The media plan has been produced by JKO Collective and Evolve Outdoor.
Commenting on the campaign, Andrew Hassard, CEO of Mango Bikes, said: “Mango Bikes is a direct2consumer, eCommerce business. We believe the best way to get our customers online is by entertaining them offline. And we'll always try to deliver it with a twinkle in the eye.”
Paul Mellor, master of decibels at Mellor&Smith, said: "People's lives are pretty grey at the moment with Covid, so they want some colour and pop in their life, they also don't want any nonsense when it comes to choosing a bike. So we kept it really simple with Commuticise."view more - Creative
