Birmingham-based branding agency Notepad has scooped two wins at the Transform Awards. The agency took home two awards:
The brand’s win of Best Visual Identity for its work with CPW showed the world that engineering can be full of personality, while still showcasing expertise. The winning entry successfully encapsulated the elements that make up CPW a balance of people, buildings and the environment, whilst creating a brand that stands in stark contrast to its competitive set, which is often clouded by emotionless and industrially focused brands.
Additionally, Notepad’s work with Iomart saw it win a highly commended award for Best Visual Identity. The rebrand for Iomart - one of the UK’s leading public technology companies. Iomart had seen a steady decline in their share price over a six-year period. With this in mind, Iomart enlisted Notepad to evolve their brand identity and positioning. The rebrand encompassed their new ‘straightforward’ positioning and brand values to life in an industry drowning in technical jargon and complexity, positioning Iomart as a brave and forward-thinking cloud company that clients want to work with, and people want to work for.
Commenting on the win, Notepad’s founder, Naeem Alvi Assinder commented: “To see our brand identity work recognised amongst the very best across Europe is a huge accolade for Notepad and testament to the brilliant work of our talented team.
