Wunderman Hires Jamie Gallo as President of New York Office

Gallo will report to Kass Sells, president Wunderman North America

Twenty–year marketing veteran Jamie Gallo has joined Wunderman as president of the New York office, responsible for delivering the full spectrum of Wunderman’s brand experience, customer engagement, data and analytics, and World Health offerings to clients and prospects. He will report to Kass Sells, president, Wunderman North America. 

“I am very excited to have Jamie join us. He is a passionate advocate of creativity and a big believer in the power of a strong, unified team,” said Sells. “Thanks to time spent on both the agency and client sides of the business, he understands how technology continues to transform our industry, and how personalized, one-to-one marketing can be used to drive business results for brands.”   

Gallo will bring to bear his considerable experience in helping Wunderman clients like Best Buy, Citibank, Coca-Cola, Land Rover, Marriott and United Airlines go to market and grow their brands’ value. Among his first priorities will be to identify additional top-tier creative talent to work alongside Wunderman global creative director, Lincoln Bjorkman. 

Gallo comes directly from the National Basketball Association, where he served as EVP, global marketing. During his tenure at the NBA, he led successful social media initiatives, rebranded the WNBA, and increased online sales of tickets and branded merchandise. Prior to the NBA, Gallo served as president of TBWA\Chiat\Day in New York, where he led engagements for clients such as Accenture, GSK, Nissan, Pepsi, Absolut and a host of other leading brands. He has been a member of many award-winning teams; garnering several Cannes Lions and Effies during his career.
