Who Will Be Canadian Agency Of The Year?

As the final deadline for the 2024 Gerety Awards approaches on May 10th, the Gerety jury prepares to select the Canadian Agency and Production Company of the Year.

To be awarded entrants simply need to submit a single reel that includes three different pieces of work from the past 12 months. The film must not exceed five minutes.

Nicole Ellerton, known for her ground breaking work in the Canadian advertising landscape for Cosette, expressed her enthusiasm for her role as a jury member, stating,  "I'm incredibly honoured to be acting as a jury member of this year's Gerety Awards. I'm especially excited to be exposed to the diverse and insightful work from around the world given the Gerety's unique perspective. I look forward to being awed, inspired and most of all reinvigorated about our industry and the work we do to move our client's brands forward and how we continue to evolve and find connection in this AI-present world."

Athina Lalljee, creative director at McCann Toronto and also part of the Executive Jury in Toronto added, “I’m excited to see simple, sharp ideas that are amazingly executed – in that order. Sometimes, it can be easy to confuse a cool execution for an idea which is why I’ll be on the lookout for the latter, first.”

Joining the executive jury in New York Canadian, Bridget Flynn, CEO of Grayson Music, conveyed her excitement about the upcoming event, saying, "I am thrilled to serve on the New York Executive Jury for the 2024 Gerety Awards, where I have the privilege of judging some of the most outstanding creative work from around the globe. What excites me most about the Gerety is its unique ability to assemble a diverse group of women from various facets of our industry in one room, each of us bringing a distinct perspective, enriching our discussions. Through this collective lens, we not only celebrate innovation but also inspire each other to new ways of thinking, deepening our appreciation for the creativity before us.”
