VML today announces the winners of the 2024 Helen Lansdowne Resor Scholarship in partnership with the 4A’s Foundation. The Helen Lansdowne Resor (HLR) Scholarship is an international opportunity that supports women and gender nonbinary voices in the creative industry. It provides women and nonbinary college students the opportunities and support they need to successfully join the advertising industry’s creative ranks.
Named after Helen Lansdowne Resor, the industry’s first female copywriter, the scholarship aims to amplify historically marginalised voices in the creative industry. Winners receive $10,000 toward their education and creative journey, plus a paid internship at a VML office in their region, a mentor from VML, and a 'first look' placement consideration upon graduation. 2024 marks the 10th anniversary of the scholarship.

We’re thrilled to continue supporting these young people in their creative career journeys and foster a more inclusive industry that can propel brands to new heights of relevance and impact,” said Debbi Vandeven, global CCO at VML.
