The Apple Watch is equipped with health and safety features that are there when you need them
Apple's latest campaign in highlights authentic Australian narratives to illustrate how Apple Watch could potentially save lives.

The work features Bruce and Lexie, who recount their personal experiences with Fall Detection and Low Heart Rate Notifications, showcasing how these health and safety features intervened in unexpected situations.

While cycling alone in the Macedon Ranges, Victoria, Bruce Mildenhall encountered a kangaroo collision. His Apple Watch detected the impact, activating Fall Detection. Despite Bruce being incapacitated, his watch automatically contacted emergency services, shared his location, and alerted his wife, demonstrating its crucial role during emergencies.

Lexie Northcott and her mother, Karla, both active hikers in Australia, received notifications from their Apple Watch regarding Lexie's low heart rate. Initially attributing it to fitness, Lexie eventually sought medical advice, leading to the discovery of a severe heart block.

Emergency surgery, including the installation of a pacemaker, was promptly performed, with Karla acknowledging Apple Watch's contribution to potentially saving her daughter's life.
