Three Immortal projects and nine Commendations were premiered at the flagship screening at Ham Yard Hotel, supported by Ridley Scott Associates
The Immortal Awards returned home to London on Wednesday night, kicking off this year’s global showcase tour at the Ham Yard Hotel in Soho.

The night, which was supported by Ridley Scott Associates, saw the premiere screening of the 2023 winners reel which included the three Immortal and nine Commendation winning projects.

Leading names from across the agency, production and post worlds were in attendance to celebrate the winning work and watch the UK based winners pick up their prizes.

On the night, three of the winning projects had winners in attendance. There were two Commendations awarded to UK projects, with Absolute receiving a prize for Evoca Foundation’s 'Rise', whilst Vanish’s 'Me, My Autism and I' saw gongs given to Havas London, Whitehouse Post and 750mph.

There was also one Immortal winning project to award, which saw Somesuch and Trim Editing collect their shiny skulls - which are newly redesigned trophies for 2024 - for their contribution to Apple’s 'The Greatest'.

The Immortal Awards team will now embark on a global showcase tour, with locations and dates to be revealed over the coming months. The call for entries for this year’s competition will also be announced via Little Black Book soon.

Paul Monan, awards director at The Immortal Awards, says: “Kicking off our showcase tour at the Ham Yard has become a tradition for the Immortals that we look forward to immensely. It’s the first showing of a truly ground-breaking, awe-inspiring reel of work and judging by the reaction it had this week will prove to be a hit with audiences the world over. To have another packed out event, with almost 200 of the city’s best creatives in attendance, is a joy and we are delighted to have had the support from the RSA team to make it all happen.”

Josie Juneau, head of advertising at RSA, adds “What an incredible event filled with wonderful people. The thing I love most about the Immortal Awards is you see work from different markets. Dario Fau’s CANAL+ film made the room erupt, I hadn’t seen it before!  You always come away inspired”
