Framestore announces Warren Drones as lead technical artist and Daria Adamitskaya as lead environment artist

Framestore, the Academy-Award-winning creative company renowned for its groundbreaking innovations in immersive experiences, including Max’s award-winning Carrie’s Closet, SUMMIT One Vanderbilt’s observation deck and Cadillac’s ‘Art of You’ interactive experience, announces the addition of Warren Drones as lead technical artist and Daria Adamitskaya as lead environment artist to its growing Immersive team. With Warren joining the New York team and Daria the London team, Framestore reaffirms its position as a global leader in creative technology, dedicated to reshaping expectations for both IP owners and their guests through innovative creative technology, location-based entertainment and theme park rides.

Warren Drones brings over a decade of industry expertise to his new role as lead technical artist at Framestore. With a distinguished career spanning virtual production, AR, product management and game development, Warren has received acclaim for his innovative contributions to the field. His portfolio includes multiple Emmy award-winning projects, such as the NFL Super Bowl AR package, and his role in developing Avalanche Motion Graphics tools for Unreal Engine. As a former product manager at Epic Games, specialising in Esports and media entertainment, Warren has demonstrated his visionary leadership and collaborative spirit, working with industry giants like Fortnite, Rocket League, ESPN, Fox and Disney.

Daria Adamitskaya joins as a lead environment artist, bringing a wealth of experience garnered during her nine-year tenure at Creative Assembly where she contributed to notable titles like the Total War series, including three chapters of Warhammer, and historical games like Three Kingdoms. Currently crafting environmental scenes with Unreal Engine 5.3 on unannounced projects, Daria is focussed on crafting top of the line immersive experiences which combine the type of storytelling and atmosphere that captivated her as a child.

Global head of immersive, Karl Woolley, commented on the recent hires stating, “Framestore has always been about the people and how we’re able to harness technology so our talent can realise the very best work. This is why we’re excited to have Daria and Warren join us from esteemed adjacent industries, bringing their skills and experience to further strengthen Framestore’s talent base and broaden our Immersive offering.”
