Entries for the 2024 ICAD Awards Open on 9th of April

The Institute of Creative Advertising and Design (ICAD) is a not-for-profit, membership-led body made up of the best creatives in the country. The Institute’s guiding principle is to foster, promote and reward creative excellence in Irish advertising and design. ICAD members range from freelancers to boutique studios and full-service advertising agencies and have included such luminaries as Dorothy Walker, Sam Stephenson, Louis le Brocquy, Patrick and Michael Scott. If you create in the fields of advertising, design, or production, you have a place in ICAD.

The ICAD Awards are Ireland’s longest-standing and most coveted creative industries awards. Now in their 66th year, the Awards continue to set and uphold the gold standard of original creative thinking. An ICAD Bell is as valuable and relevant today, as it was in 1958. Perhaps more so.

As a non-profit, ICAD keeps fees low and accessible, placing more emphasis on graft and craft. Simple ideas speak for themselves. Good is good, no matter what way you skin it. Bronze is life-affirming. Silver is bonus-inducing. Gold is reserved for the lucky few. 

Kasia Oźmin, ICAD’s newly elected president said of the awards, “For 66 years, ICAD has been assembling diverse domestic and international award winning juries. The ICAD bell is a recognised benchmark for creative excellence nationally and internationally and as an institute, we strive to constantly protect and maintain its value and meaning.”

The ICAD Awards open for entries on Tuesday 9th April 2024 and close on Wednesday 8th May. In the spirit of keeping things competitive, and to enable the underdogs to take a swing at the old guard, the earlybird fee is set at just €50 per entry. Prices will increase to €100 from the 26th of April.
