Recruits Kayleigh McCardle as Group Business Development Director to support rapid growth strategy

Following the successful acquisition of Ever After by Zone Design in 2012 the two multi-award winning creative agencies (based in London and the South-East) have this week merged to form MBC.  Since the middle of last year the two agencies have been informally known as MBC Group, but until now have operated as two separate companies. The merger means that they are now able to offer all clients a wider range of staff and services, from brand strategy to video production and digital activation.

Robin Horrex, the CEO of MBC commented: “This merger will be good for our clients and good for our staff. We now have a wider pool of talent and resources within one company with first class creatives working across our three industry specialisms; healthcare, leisure & lifestyle and food & beverage. We are able to offer our clients a diverse mix of local and global insight and expertise, from brand strategy through to activation.”

MBC have recruited Kayleigh McCardle as their Group Business Development Director to support their rapid growth strategy.  Kayleigh joins MBC from the global brand strategy consultancy, Lippincott (a division of Oliver Wyman) – known most recently for having refreshed the eBay and Starbucks identities.

Robin continued: “Both agencies have multi-award winning reputations in the industry specialisms. It’s great to have Kayleigh on board bringing her expertise and know-how in marketing and business development to MBC.”

Kayleigh said: “I’m very excited at the opportunities presented by joining forces; together we’ve a fantastic legacy and I’m looking forward to showing brands how we at MBC can help them with our business-changing-creativity.”

MBC takes a multi-disciplined approach to creativity. Using real insight, MBC helps brands improve their performance and connect more meaningfully with their customers. Current clients include Bayer, Carlsberg, Renault, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, and Universal Music.

The company will continue to operate from offices in London’s Kings Cross and Windsor.
