Raj Bhatia has joined Code and Theory as global chief technology officer. Raj brings a wealth of experience as a transformation leader focused on strategic capability building. As an advocate of AI and data, he brings a history of leveraging technology to drive business value and a keen acumen for change management.

Raj joins Code and Theory at a peak moment in its history. The technology-first creative agency has seen a string of impressive new business wins and launches. Most recently, it rebranded Thomson Reuters, relaunched Volvo Trucks' digital presence and was named digital agency of record for the Star Tribune. It is the only agency with a balance of 50% engineers and 50% creatives. This has created a significant impact for A-list clients ranging from Amazon to Zappos. Ad Age spotlighted Code and Theory's success last week by naming it Business Transformation Agency of the Year.

At Deloitte Digital, Raj led digital transformation and customer-focused initiatives, guiding large operational and technology teams across CRM, product development, process excellence and go-to-market strategies to deliver impactful client results.

At Moody's and GE Capital, his tech-centric process engineering and commercial initiatives enhanced sales, marketing and customer engagement through holistic digital transformation strategies. As head of commercial excellence, global program management and later, global marketing at Moody’s he led firmwide process and technology efforts across multiple disciplines and change-management strategies, enhancing organizational agility and customer satisfaction.

Raj holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Delhi, an MBA from Fairfield University, is certified in Lean Six Sigma and Design Thinking Practitioner and is a graduate of Harvard's High Potential Leadership Program.

Raj will be integral in leveraging Code and Theory's top-level talent and partnerships.
