This week saw the fifth instalment in Ariel India’s #ShareTheLoad campaign titled ‘See Equal’ by BBDO India. Over the series of films the laundry brand has fought to challenge the assumption that housework is only a woman’s job. This particular film centres around the question: "If men can share the load equally with other men, why not with their wives?" It follows a married couple visiting their male neighbours who, while having an undefined relationship, take equal responsibility for domestic chores, representing the modern Indian man’s thinking. What follows is a call for consumers to see spouses as equal because ‘when you see equal, you share equal’.
