Valiant Pictures Sweeps Telly Awards with 22 Total Wins

Bicoastal production company Valiant Pictures landed a whopping grand total of 22 Telly Awards for the 2022 event honouring excellence in video and television across all screens. The company took home two Golds in 'Non-Broadcast: Directing' and 'Non-Broadcast: Sound/Sound Design' for roster director Ian Kammer’s horror short 'Safe and Sound.' The short film also earned three Silver Telly Awards in 'Non-Broadcast: Writing,' 'Non-Broadcast: Entertainment' and 'Non-Broadcast: Videography/Cinematography.' 

Prestigious wins for top sports, lifestyle and auto campaigns as well as poignant branded content highlighting timely social issues harken to Valiant Pictures’ continued dedication to driving unique perspectives from a diverse roster of award-winning creators. Prior to its five Telly Award wins, 'Safe and Sound' enjoyed a successful film festival run, with official selections at the Vancouver Horror Show Film Festival where it earned awards for 'Best Film' and 'Best Director' as well as the MOTELX Lisbon International Horror Film Festival and the Nightstream Film Festival. 

Two campaigns for CarMax, both helmed by Valiant director Danny Corey, were honoured with a total of nine Telly Awards, a continuation of Valiant’s four year legacy with the brand alongside the NBA and WNBA. Additionally, alongside co-director Vincent Lin, an additional four wins came by way of History Channel’s promo titled 'The Rest is History: Jackie Robinson.'
