Truenorth Wins a Location Manager’s International Guild Award for Outstanding Location

Truenorth location manager, Jon Olafur Lindsay, won the award for OUTSTANDING LOCATIONS IN A COMMERCIAL, at the Location Manager's International Guild awards, held in LA on August 26. 

Truenorth produced the commercial ‘Easy to Stop, Hard to Leave’ for Icelandair.

Steven Spielberg among others, was an honoree at the awards.

Annual LMGI Awards honour the outstanding and creative visual contributions by location professionals in film, television, commercials, and film commissions from around the globe.

This year marks the 20th Anniversary of the guild and the 10th Anniversary of the LMGI Awards ceremony.

The category the Icelandair commercial was in is:

Truenorth was the local producer of the Iceland locations, with executive producer Jon Bjarni Gudmundsson and producer Andri Thor Birgison.
