Tom Winterton Returns to The Romans

In a move promised not to be a late April’s Fool, Tom Winterton has once again re-joined the business he has already left multiple times previously. 

London’s most forgiving agency, The Romans, has once again re-welcomed serial workplace yo-yoer, Tom, who recommences in a new role as director, one of the few positions in the company he has yet to briefly occupy. 

Tom first worked with The Romans’ founder, Joe Mackay-Sinclair, at Citizen Relations and then at The Romans, and then as a client as global head of comms at Dice, and then at The Romans again, then he went somewhere else or something and now once more he is at The Romans. 

Tom Winterton commented, “Call it Stockholm Syndrome. Call it the return of the Prodigal Son. Call it seventh time lucky. There is something magnetic (and equally repellent) about this agency that keeps me coming back for more, before coming back to my senses. Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.” He then blinked the morse code for S-O-S." 

Joe Maclay-Sinclair, CEO of The Romans added, “We know only too well that there’s a talent shortage out there. And, while Tom Winterton is clearly a spineless rage-quitter, he is at least ourspineless rage-quitter. We look forward to a period of time working together until such point as the train company makes a minor alteration its timetable or a slightly more attractive opportunity presents itself to Tom.”
