Chris joins from Brainlabs (formerly Distilled)

Reflect Digital, part of the LAB Group of agencies, has appointed Chris Lewis to the newly created role of head of growth following a period of significant growth within the business.

Chris joins from Brainlabs (formerly Distilled) where he worked as the sales director (vice president of growth), EMEA & APAC for around two and a half years and worked with forward-thinking ecommerce brands such as Tiffany & Co. and global publications including The Financial Times. His role involved building a sales process from the ground up, dealing with multiple stakeholders and setting and negotiating on commercials.

In his new position, Chris will be responsible for driving growth within Reflect Digital. He will report directly to Reflect Digital’s CEO, Becky Simms, and will oversee all new sales opportunities coming into the business as well leading the growth strategy to ensure Reflect Digital are focusing on the right businesses where they can deliver maximum impact for clients. He’ll also collaborate with the wider group of LAB agencies; VERJ, Riverr and Studio BLUP in order to maximise group opportunities.

The appointment comes as Reflect Digital report that 12-month revenue is 30% up on this time last year, despite the impact Covid-19 had on businesses across the UK and worldwide.

Becky Simms, CEO at Reflect Digital, said: “I am really excited to be welcoming Chris into the Reflect Digital team, he comes with a wealth of experience and expertise that is perfect for the next step of our journey.

“We’re seeing growth with a number of clients and new businesses currently where our solution-focused creativity is paramount for us to re-define the use of their marketing budgets in the current climate.

“Our growth since joining the LAB Group has been strong, albeit with a rather large speed bump earlier this year due to the initial lockdown period.

“For us, now is the time to really focus on the direction of our growth and to ensure we are working with the right brands who we can truly deliver impact for.

“We are just tipping the 30 people mark and investing time in setting our leadership team up for the next stages of growth.

“It is a really exciting time to have new team members joining, with three other new roles being appointed in September and more to come before the year is out.

“Looking at the 12-month rolling revenue, we are 30% up on this time last year, which considering the impact Covid-19 had earlier in the year is a phenomenal result and testament to our team’s hard work.”

Chris Lewis, head of growth at Reflect Digital, said: I'm over the moon to be joining the Reflect Digital family and becoming part of the LAB Group.

“Reflect Digital has, at its core, an awesome people-first culture, understanding that happy people are the best people to work with, and creates an environment that produces the best ideas, and work, for clients.

“What attracted me to the role was the human behaviour and neuroscience thread that runs through our group of agencies.

“In a world where people are more and more intertwined with digital in every aspect of their lives, our ability as an agency to tap in, and understand human behaviour, enables us to offer our clients insights that will help them truly connect with their customers, and fundamentally make a difference to their business.

“I feel very blessed to be given this opportunity to help drive growth alongside Becky and the team.

“It felt right from the start and I'm glad that my journey has brought me here.”
