Radio LBB: Rap's Finest Females

I'm currently mixing a score at one of my favourite studios in London and keep seeing Lady Lessur floating about the building. It got me thinking about how one of my favourite live TV performances is when Lessur premiered her single' Black Panther' on Later With Jools Holland. Jools introduces her. The camera pans around and fixes on her. The sample of Missy Elliot's 'She's a Bitch’ kicks in and Lessur completely owns it. She's the real deal - it’s only a matter of time before she cracks the US. It sparked me to curate a playlist of some of my favourite young female rappers on the scene atm. Hope you enjoy.
