Highly experienced executive will drive firm’s brand and business strategy and focus on growth

Quigley, the largest WBENC-certified female-owned full-service advertising agency in the country, announced today that Dan Kohler has joined the agency as EVP, strategy and Growth. In his new role, Dan will concentrate on brand and business strategy, agency growth, creating new strategic alliances and partnerships, as well as agency marketing and PR.

Based in Los Angeles, with offices in New York City, Quigley focuses on strategies that use a brand’s equity to drive demand across every stage of the consumer journey. Its fully integrated offerings include brand strategy, creative development, integrated media, digital media, data science and analytics, UX/UI, D2C and E-Commerce.

“Dan’s extensive background and proven track record building global brands both in the US and internationally, will serve our clients’ needs extremely well,” said Carl Fremont, CEO, Quigley. “We are thrilled to have him join our executive team during this exciting time of growth and expansion.”

Dan’s experience in building world class brands spans both the agency and client side, including three years as director of international marketing for Subway World Headquarters, the world’s largest QSR franchise with over 40,000 restaurants in 113 countries. On the agency side, he served as EVP at Leo Burnett, where he helped lead the McDonald’s International business, contributing to the growth of global relationships, geographic expansion and strategic support for 36 countries. Dan also spent time at Crispin Porter + Bogusky working on Mondelez International and Burger King; as well as at Havas, MFP, and Deutsch LA working on the iconic California Milk Advisory Board campaign. He spent the past five years as president and founder of branding and marketing consultancy DK Branding, acting as CMO of Crystal River Meats; leading marketing, pricing and positioning for X2 Performance, the energy drink used by over 25 pro sports teams and backed by private equity firm L Catterton, as well as working with a number of start-ups.
