Motherland director Rory Hanrahan has collaborated with agency In The Company Of Huskies to create a new ad for the Allianz Insurance brand.
This is Hanrahan’s second project since joining the Motherland roster earlier this year, following his departure from the New York agency world. During his ten years working in creative agencies, including Mother NY, 72&Sunny and BBH and Mekanism, Rory picked up a number of prestigious industry awards including two Silver One Show Pencils and a Gold Cannes Lion for TBS Dept of Humor Analysis.
, which was released this week, touches on the courage of parents to hand over their car keys to their loving child as they begin their driving journey. It follows a main protagonist as she grows up through a series of mishaps throughout childhood and teenage life.
‘It was essential that the cast delivered a believable, likeable and relatable interpretation of the script’, says Motherland producer Keith Bradley.
“We undertook a number of casting auditions in order to achieve what we and Rory felt were the right people for the ad. Once we had cast our main role, Sinead, we cast the younger girls based on her looks to ensure there was a noticeable similarity between them all”.
