Hires come with the announcement of a new office in Angoulême

LIGHT Hires EP Sophie Lebreton and Strengthens Leadership Team

Creative studio LIGHT has kicked off the new year with bolstered production and tech teams, key internal promotions, and a new office in Angoulême.

Only in its second year, LIGHT’s creative portfolio continues to grow rapidly across upcoming feature film, episodic, and commercial projects, hiring executive producer Sophie Lebreton to help lead production alongside founder Antoine Moulineau, EP Guillaume Raffi and Producer Olivia McLean.

A renowned VFX producer, Sophie brings over 15 years of experience across global commercial campaigns in the London and Paris industries. Sophie was a key force in developing MPC’s Paris office and subsequently involved in MPC’s joint venture with Mikros as EP and sales lead for some of Mikros/MPC’s biggest clients. Sophie comes to LIGHT with a passion to drive forward new business, strengthen commercial client relationships and further develop the production department.

With technological development a key focus of LIGHT’s emergence as a progressive creative studio, LIGHT has also continued the advancement of its dynamic visual effects pipeline and grown its tech teams to support their ambitious R&D progression. Chief information officer Nicolas Houdelot has been instrumental in leading this charge alongside new hire Vincent Lebreton as CTO. Nicolas and Vincent will be based in LIGHT’s brand new Royan facilities in the new year, focusing their efforts on providing a MPA-certified working environment to support incoming work on Hollywood films.

LIGHT has additionally broken ground on a new office in Angoulême. Opening its doors in the renowned animation industry hub, LIGHT aims to seek and support new talent to continue its primary focus: fostering and motivating a dedicated team of visual effects and animation artists.
