Innocean Worldwide Canada Promotes Eighteen

Twelve people promoted within media department including several at the senior level

Following a year of positive returns and recent growth, Innocean Worldwide Canada is pleased to announce a series of promotions aimed at strengthening its media, production and client services offerings.

“Our talent is our key differentiator, and that is why we believe in investing in our employees at all stages of their careers” said Norm Melamed, chief operating officer, Innocean Worldwide Canada. “Last year was a big year for us as we celebrated our tenth anniversary, a number of awards and client wins. We could not have succeeded without the full support of our staff. We look forward to seeing even greater success in 2020 with these talented individuals at the helm.” 

Twelve people were promoted within the media department including several at the senior level. Alison Binkley was named senior media director on the Kia Canada Inc. account, while David Nolet has stepped into Alison’s previous role as Media Director. In Innocean’s Montreal office, Kimberley Davies has been named broadcast manager responsible for leading French media buying. Four have been promoted into supervisory positions, Manuel Pena and Warren Fragata as supervisor, performance digital, Sarah Barker as media supervisor, and Estelle Nguyen senior digital media supervisor. On the programmatic team, both Tim Wong and Tina Tran have been promoted to programmatic manager.

On the accounts side, Christine Smith has been promoted to SVP, client business, responsible for overseeing the Hyundai Auto Canada Corp. account. She will work closely with Jennifer Green, named senior account director. Previously Jennifer was account director. She is responsible for managing Hyundai Auto Canada Corp.’s Corporate advertising efforts and has also taken on the responsibility of managing other accounts including Surex Direct and Merrell.

In the production department, Deborah Lee has been named Head of PMO and will be responsible for managing Innocean Worldwide Canada’s project management staff. Previously Deborah was lead project manager.

These come in addition to other promotions made across the agency including within Innocean Worldwide Canada’s Corporate Services department.
