Gorgeous Goes Stateside

 

Gorgeous has set up shop in the US, with Anna Hashmi as Executive producer. Coinciding with the launch of the new office, Gorgeous has also announced the signing of award-winning DOP Ellen Kuras.

 

Gorgeous announced the news with the following statement:

 

We’re awfully sorry to bother but, if it’s not too much trouble, we just wanted to mention that we have recently set-up shop in the United States of America.

 

In case you didn’t know, we’re from England, a little island on the other side of the world. Anna Hashmi, who speaks fluent American, is our Executive Producer. Resource are representing us on the West Coast, Representation on the East and Mary Kate Hatfield for the other bits in the middle.

 

A spokesman for the company announced: “Could someone please put the kettle on and get that bloody raccoon out of here!"

 

The Gorgeous roster includes Frank Budgen, Chris Palmer, Peter Thwaites, Tom Carty and Vince Squibb. All of whom are chaps from the United Kingdom.

 

And we are proud to announce that we have been joined by a local lass, Ellen Kuras, from Upstate New York. A three-times recipient of the Sundance Best Cinematography award, Ellen has plied her trade alongside the likes of Martin Scorsese, Sam Mendes, Spike Lee and Michel Gondry. Which we consider rather impressive. She has recently directed some television commercials for Nike, AT&T, Powerade and Delta, which are all rather impressive too.
