Entertainment Company Free Turn Announces Strategic Partnership with Digital Media Distribution Limited

Free Turn, brand entertainment company founded by Nick Hamm, Netflix's 2020 breakout summer hit 'White Lines' director and Jon Hamm, former WPP and IPG alumni, has announced a formal strategic partnership with DMD Limited, a leading global distributor of entertainment content across SVOD, AVOD, OTT and digital platforms.

This is part of Free Turn’s commitment to transform business growth for brands by putting entertainment at the heart of the marketing strategy.

The announcement follows several months of collaboration including the LATAM launch of DMD’s independent cinema SVOD channel, 'Cindie' and development of specialist SVOD channels set to launch in 2021. These channels will provide brands with a unique opportunity to reach engaged, valuable audiences with impactful brand funded entertainment.

The partnership will drive growth for brand owners in three key areas: unlock international distribution opportunities for newly created entertainment properties to reach wider audiences; provide a singularly-effective way to access niche communities of consumers through lifestyle and passion channels; and extend the life cycle and returnable revenue of existing brand-owned entertainment through distribution on untapped digital platforms.
