Digital Spirit Reflects on 2020's Opportunities and Looks Forward to Surprises of 2021

Last year was full of challenges and uncertainty for everybody, and that made it also a source of opportunity to re-evaluate things, prioritise and exercise our ability to improvise, adapt and overcome. Retrospectively looking at everything that happened, Digital Spirit feels both grateful for the opportunities it had and enthusiastic for the surprises that 2021 will bring. 

In 2020, it felt a strong urge to rise above problems - and it showed. This tendency took its toll on its creative manifestations. Fortunately!

Digital Spirit is all about teamwork, because that`s where its strength lies. The team are grateful for the beauty of Bucharest, because they often had to perform mainly outside, thanks to the pandemic. Either high in the mountains - keeping within safety Covid-19 measures - or flying through the cosmic void aboard a spaceship, filming was its goal. It also found the opportunity to catch the artistic angle of the team's work, and "bathe in the poetry it brings, thanks to amazing projects."

Technology helps improve human craft in almost every field of work. Perhaps still the champions of creativity, when it comes to precision and calculus - much needed when shooting a film - tech gets to be in the commander's seat. For their latest projects, the team relied on the motion control tool 'Bolt' to capture scenes flawlessly. Scouting also feeds their inner 'bohemian children' with lots of joy from dreamy landscapes and places.

The team followed all safety and hygiene measures on every one of its sets and this will be the case in 2021 as well. In their branch of work, 2020 showed Digital Spirit that safety can even be a form of art in itself.
