Cailee Spaeny Reveals Her Light in Ethereal Bulgari Spot

RSA Films' Eva Vik directs inspiring collaboration between two rising stars for Bulgari’s new OMNIA campaign, 'Reveal Your Light,' via Anomaly. Award-winning indie filmmaker, commercial and music video director Eva Vik, who last year helmed Bulgari’s acclaimed Serpentine brand film, this year directs Cailee Spaeny (now starring in Sophia Coppola’s Priscilla), in Bulgari’s new campaign for Omnia’s Crystalline, Amethyste and Coral fragrances. The ethereal 'Reveal Your Light' films are set in Lisbon, and feature Cailee comfortable in her own skin and exuding confidence, inspired in part by adding an Omnia fragrance as a natural last touch to her fashion ensemble. 

“Working with the rising star Cailee Spaeny on this campaign in Portugal was awesome, she and I really connected,” Eva Vik said. “She's a born pro so working with someone so dedicated to acting and character is always a gift. We kept diving way deep into her character, it was actually funny how deep we went, and we had a great time filming together. I began collaborating with Bulgari on 'Serpentine' ft. Barbara Palvin, and for that one, we were nominated for an X Award at Tribeca Film Festival. I firmly identify with the brand's philosophy and its serpent with the ancient meaning of rebirth, elegance, knowledge and transformation which is a recurring theme in my films. Now with the Omnia campaign, it's ‘Reveal Your Light,’ which to me has unbounded encouraging symbolism in its punchline and that's inspiring on another level.”

Since being named to Forbes prestigious 30 Under 30 in 2021, Eva has seen her directing career take off. Her work includes short films such as Raven, awarded best sci fi film at HollyShorts, and dramatic short Maestrowhich nabbed multiple Independent Shorts Award honours including Best Drama and Jury Prize for Best Director, commercials for Oliver Peoples and music videos for Suki Waterhouse, Palaye Royale and Fletcher ft. Kelsea Ballerini. She is currently in preproduction on her first feature film.
