ARCADE has added comedy director Tom Wakeling to its growing commercial roster.
Known for playful, offbeat, visual humour, Tom has a knack for staging the outlandish in otherwise ordinary settings. The results are often heightened comic situations that are at once unexpected, delightfully absurd, and yet believable.
He has a keen eye for relatable casting and elicits warm and authentic performances, infused with a positivity and love of life.
A design graduate, Tom learned his advertising craft at The Outfit and Publicis, while simultaneously honing his visual storytelling in sketch comedy and music videos.
He broke through with a trio of comic spots for EE’s partnership with Apple, narrated by Kevin Bacon, and has since been sought out for brands such as Oreo, Samsung, Canon, TUI, UNICEF x Domestos and Google.
