Dog Musher, Ramey Smyth, is like Daniel Boone. He deals with his unbelievably challenging life in Willow, Alaska with such ease, it was something I found fascinating and was one of the core ideas of his character study for me. We drew a lot of the contrast between the caring moments with his dogs and the extremely harsh environment of his daily life in this documentary spot for Carhartt. - Stacy Peralta, Director
