Dove - Selfie

​Part of Dove’s Self-Esteem Project and the sequel to their iconic Evolution ad, ‘Dove Selfie’ continued to challenge our perceptions of beauty. Director Dannan Breathnach's film offers a thought-provoking narrative that explores the industrial forces behind the influencers' seemingly quick and perfect Instagram selfies. The film uses a combination of a single shot and a reverse shot to pull back the veil on this manufactured reality and reveal that the fight against impossible standards of beauty continues. ​
