Coffee&TV has created 2×30” commercials for Ancestry.co.uk, the online family tree research website.
The project involved shoot supervision, scene clean-up to remove modern-day items such as background traffic and street signs, before finally animation of family tree boxes which were designed and tracked-in to sit in 3D space next to each relevant character.
Lead VFX on the project was Derek: “It was great to work with Sam Miller for the first time, the guy who directed Luther for the BBC. He created a wonderful historic look, which just needed a little vfx help to enhance the visuals and bring consistency across the piece”.
Steve provided motion graphics and design: “This was a lovely project, I particularly enjoyed giving a look to the graphics that not only was in keeping with the brand, but also complimented the historical nature of the footage”.CREDITS
