TEDx Sydney - TEDx Real

For TEDxSydney 2020, a group of the world's best motion and sound studios were united in a global collaboration to illustrate the theme of “REAL”. After all, TEDx is about “ideas worth spreading”, and with reality so open to interpretation, a curated collaboration was perfectly suited to capturing the kaleidoscopic nature of the theme.

Our animation “PERCEPTION”, is a dive into the building blocks of reality. We wanted viewers to have a moment to more deeply consider the true nature of what we perceive each and every day. Playing on the contrast between flat illustrations and three-dimensional environments allowed us to develop a surprising shift in sensation with each transition.
