Invesco's Intentional Investing: Roger on a MondayEmbed With Credits
Invesco launched a new marketing initiative, based on the premise that “Financial Noise is everywhere,” created by Leo Burnett Chicago to dramatize the importance of separating valuable investing knowledge from financial noise. The campaign is called "Intentional Investing."
In one of the TV spots, “Roger on a Monday,” Roger wakes up to the unsettling scene of four financial “experts” hovering at the foot of his bed, simultaneously dishing financial news and market updates. The spot cuts to scenes of Roger getting inundated with unsolicited, noisy counsel in awkward settings like in the shower, on an escalator and on the racquetball court. A text overlay reads: “Financial Noise is everywhere. Tune it out with Intentional Investing from Invesco.”
