Brand film (and social series)

Ski films can be both expensive AND logistically challenging – unless you have a smart approach. Both snowsports and travel are specialisms here at &FRIENDS, so after coming up with the concept and creating the scripts, we enlisted the services of Giles Smith to bring it to life. 

Shot over three days in St. Moritz, we deliberately timed the shoot to guarantee empty slopes. Specialist FRIENDS on the ground – namely legendary DoP (and ex-ski racer Andrea Salini) – enabled us to capture some pretty audacious shots, quickly and efficiently (e.g. tracking shots of our skiers going over huge kickers, which would normally be captured by drone). 

Alongside the main film, we captured 25 separate pieces of social content – forming a mini content campaign for the client.
