When Ford announced that their all-new, all-electric SUV would be a Mustang they sent shockwaves through the automotive industry. They could have justified the decision with a big, expensive commercial or jaw-dropping but ultimately pointless stunt but they didn’t. Instead, they commissioned Chrome Productions to create a shockingly honest film that not only provided fans and critics with detailed insight into every minute detail of the design and engineering process but also reminded them that the team behind the Mustang Mach-E are every bit as loyal, invested and protective of the brand as the fans themselves. This film was the focal point of the vehicle’s launch at a glitzy event in Los Angeles, hosted by Idris Elba but it was the candidness, authenticity and honesty with which Ford engaged with their fans and customers that really makes this film unique.
