The US and UK may speak the same language, but American ads aren’t automatically ready for British TV broadcast. LEAP provided comprehensive versioning and localisation services to bring Waterpik’s DRTV commercial to the British audiences.
To smooth the path to broadcast, LEAP’s team of creative copywriters revised the script while the TV admin team liaised with clearance organisations and brand owners to ensure that the changes would satisfy UK broadcasting requirements as well as meet with the client’s approval.
LEAP’s production team filmed a pack shot replacement scene in their green screen studio. The producers also organised the recording and audio mix of a British voice-over artist. Finally, LEAP’s post-production team provided the necessary edits and technical QC to deliver the new UK master to broadcast playout partners.
