CANADA presents ‘Must Be Strong’ a film celebrating International Trans Day of Visibility directed

Trans model and activist Munroe Bergdorf stars in a film, written by Bergdorf and creative

directors Eduardo Fitch and Lisa Turner-Wray.

Femke’s penchant for staged and crafted worlds comes paired with a rare and delicate sense of

humour and synchronicity, making her work as amusing as it is stylish. She has worked for brands

such as Shiseido, Vogue or Nike.

Femke received Best New Director at the Madrid FFF and FFFMilano before signing for CANADA in

2017, since then she has been recognised and awarded multiple times in other big festivals such

as FashionClash 2017 and Berlin Fashion Film Festival.
