Mexican agency and production house, majadmA and KIDS respectively, launched the worldwide campaign for Abierto GNP Seguros, a professional women's tennis tournament that is part of the WTA Tour. The event takes place in Monterrey City with the participation of important tennis pros such as Angelique Kerber, ex-#1 on the WTA Ranking and winner of 3 Grand Slam. The spot will be broadcasted on WTA platforms, in more than 50 countries.
The goal is to attract more tennis fans and the rule was to break with the typical content of this category. The spot staring Angelique Kerber and Feliciano Lopez with a fun tone challenging to duel across Mexican references, replacing bullets with tennis balls, results in a spot that stands out from the regular flow of tennis ads.
