THE RESULTS - Midea’s localised website successfully launched in Russia in 2017. Midea is also considering working with Isobar Commerce on a global website to showcase it’s many global products on the Magento platform.
THE CHALLENGE - Midea was looking to revamp its eCommerce solution for the Russia market.
Midea is a leading consumer appliance, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems manufacturer, established in China in 1968. The firm employs over 126,000 employees across 200 countries.
THE SOLUTION - Isobar Commerce coordinated with the Midea Russia team and Global headquarters in China for Midea’s first eCommerce website on the Magento platform.
The project involved business analysis, specifications, technical architecture, development and testing. Checkout process, payment method, SSO share and store locator were adapted to the local market. Isobar Commerce also coordinated with a local partner who provided the language translation, SEO proofreading and payment system adaptation.Genres: People
