As Kenya’s national Brew, Tusker Lager stands for unity and togetherness in a country with strong division between her 42 communities. It’s true, there is no “I” in team, but there is an “Us” in Tusker. So, what if we proved to ordinary Kenyans that by standing together, extraordinary things happen? With the help of real life Kenyan Music Producer, Kaki Gondi of Flag 42 Records, we embarked on an epic journey to find out what makes us, us. Sampling sounds from all 42 tribes and documenting the experience, we blended them together, creating an anthem. A unified voice for a fractured nation. We sampled a classic Kenyan hit by Slim Ali and added vocals from Kenyan rap star, Wangeshi.
