‘Posters with style’, when posters become hair models.
A global hairdressing brand with over 430 salons worldwide, TONI&GUY is located in key upscale areas in Singapore and relies heavily on store location visibility as well as creative reputation to attract potential clients and walk-ins.
VML’s idea was then to innovate with outdoor posters. The agency created posters that could be styled, allowing stylists to showcase their abilities and the brand’s pedigree in an intriguing way.
By simply lengthening the traditional poster, the actual medium then became a representation of hair for faces on the poster design - allowing stylists to style the upper half of the poster as if they were styling the human head.
