Philips LED can save up to 85% on energy costs and last up to 15 years as compared to incandescent bulbs. However, Philips LED bulbs were 3 times more expensive than traditional bulbs. The task was to convince multiple audiences like the end consumers, architects and engineers, government officials who buy bulbs to illuminate buildings, and the general trade that Philips LED saved electricity. Our idea was to celebrate the illumination of the beloved city icons with Philips LED. We partnered with local government officials in each city and illuminated the city milestones and then invited the entire city to witness the celebration.
