McCann Worldgroup has created a new, unified global communication platform for Zurich Insurance Company. The project taps into the emotional insight of why consumers insure things.
The idea is ‘Zurich Insurance. For Those Who Truly Love’. By getting people to think about the things they truly love, it also positions Zurich as the best way to protect them.
The TV spots take a lighthearted approach to a serious topic, showing that if are really passionate about something you must protect it. The TV spots show the lengths that people will go to to insure the things they love.
Each spot first shows what ‘No Love’ looks like, then ‘Some Love’ and finally ‘True Love’. ‘Bicycle’ shows a young man leaving his bike outside a coffee shop. ‘Warmth’ shows a couple walking on a cold night.
Isabelle Welton, Chief Marketing Officer of Zurich, says of the new platform, “In order to stand out in the category, we wanted to create an emotional bond between the brand and our customers, and this new communication platform will help us to achieve that’.
