After a series of new business wins, Zulu Alpha Kilo is growing again and preparing for the future. In the past six months, the agency has started working with Nikon and has also won assignments from Tim Hortons and UBER.
To meet the growing demands, Zulu is bolstering its creative leadership with the promotion of Gail Pak to Creative Director. Pak joined Zulu in June 2015 as an ACD and her primary focus has been on Corona and Interac. Pak has created such notable campaigns as Mysterious Man, Flash and, most recently, Interac’s brand evolution Own Your World. Pak also worked on the 24-Hour Movement Guidelines website for ParticipACTION which was an FWA site of the day. Pak’s promotion follows the recent addition of Creative Directors Gerald Kugler and Rodger Eyre from Juniper Park/TBWA.
After winning 2017 Ad Age International Small agency of the year for second year in a row, many opportunities have opened up for Zulu globally and south of the border. This has sparked the launch of a worldwide search for another senior creative leader to help manage Zulu’s growth locally and internationally.
"We felt the time was right to look outside our borders for some fresh thinkers and heavy-hitters to help take Zulu to the next level,” says Zak Mroueh, Chief Creative Officer & Founder.
In addition to the global search, Zulu is currently recruiting for 14 positions, which will see Zulu finish 2017 hitting a major agency milestone with over 100 full-time employees. Or, as they like to call them, Zuligans.
