Zulu Expands Creative Team

ADD TO COLLECTION

Zulu has added an additional six creatives to their team

Zulu Expands Creative Team
Zulu Alpha Kilo has welcomed another award-winning senior creative team to the agency.

After bolstering creative leadership with the promotion of Gail Pak to CD and the hiring of Creative Directors Gerald Kugler and Rodger Eyre from Juniper Park/TBWA, Zulu has added an additional six creatives to the team, including Michael Siegers from Leo Burnett and Jonah Flynn from TAXI.

Siegers started his career at TAXI and has also worked at Cossette and Sapient. He has created award winning campaigns for such notable brands as Boston Pizza, TD, IKEA and Canadian Tire, for whom he created the Ice Truck campaign, which won a gold Cassie and was shortlisted for a Cannes Lion in the PR category. Michael’s work has earned awards and recognition in various shows including the Atomic Awards, Marketing Awards, ADCC, Applied Arts, and the Cassies.

Flynn has worked at a number of top agencies, including TBWA\Toronto, TAXI, and Crispin Porter + Bogusky. He has worked on Nissan, Canadian Tire, Pfizer, Casino Rama and Molson. Flynn wrote the Winter Warrior spot for Nissan, a spot so successful in Canada that it was picked up in the US, and begat the Conquer All Conditions campaign. His work has been awarded by Communication Arts, Marketing, Advertising & Design Club of Canada, the Cassies, and Applied Arts.

Patrick Godin and Michael Romaniuk also joined Zulu on a full-time basis. The creative team first came to the agency’s attention when they created a mailer containing “No Spec” glasses for each of the agency’s fictional founders. The glasses were hand delivered by a fake courier service, ‘FedUp With Spec’, by Godin and Romaniuk dressed as FedUp employees. The stunt got featured in Strategy’s Stimulant Online and the duo were given full-time contracts on the spot.

The agency has surpassed the 100-person milestone with the new hires and continues to recruit across all disciplines to meet its growing needs.
