Company commits to growth plans with new UK MD

Donald Hamilton has been appointed Managing Director UK of independent Publisher Trading Desk Zodiak Advertising.

 
Zodiak Advertising is a division of digital and branded content company Zodiak Active (part of the Zodiak Media Group) and currently trades over 6.6 billion impressions per month - mostly in UK, Italy, US and Spain.  Hamilton’s appointment is an essential part of the company’s strategy to create the right structure and offering to help it achieve its ambition of becoming an industry leader in the Programmatic Buying sector.
 

In his new role Hamilton will oversee the sales, business development and revenue generation for the company in the UK, using his in-depth industry knowledge to build the right team, technology and products required to help publishers maximise the yield and profitability of their online inventory. With a track record of helping to grow, inspire and challenge businesses and their staff to reach their potential, Hamilton also has over 20 years’ experience of digital marketing and data with senior positions at Improve Digital, Wunderloop, Adlink and Claritas. Prior to this appointment he was a director at Zodiak Active.
 

Rather than using the typical ‘one size fits all’ solution of most technology providers in the Programmatic Buying space, Zodiak Advertising will be focusing on providing a winning combination – bringing together the best bespoke technology for each individual publisher’s own unique needs with some of the best thinking in the business.  This fusion of technology, intelligence, analysis, experience and support will be the difference that helps publishers optimise revenue growth from their online advertising. 
 

In particular, Zodiak Advertising will be helping publishers to:


- Optimise yield
- Monetise desktop and mobile inventory
- Run private marketplaces
- Optimise Real Time Bidding (RTB) to manage and sell inventory
- Ensure safe and transparent controls across their digital landscape
- Allow the publisher to maintain and manage their premium inventory
- Allow publishers to control their inventory within the programmatic environment
