Rooster Post Production is delighted to announce that Yumi Suyama has been promoted to Executive Producer.
Yumi joined Rooster Post Production in September of 2009 as an intern and quickly advanced to Assistant Editor. She proved herself as an invaluable member of the team and became Executive Assistant. Following that, Yumi achieved her true passion, becoming a Producer in 2013. In that time, she has worked on many award-winning projects such as the Red Urban & Volkswagen “Drive Until” campaign and FCB & Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership’s Toronto 2015 Pan Am/ParaPan Am Games “Epic is On” campaign.
“Since my arrival in Canada, I have watched Yumi grow as an assistant, producer and now into the executive producer role,” says Senior Editor Marc Langley. “She is efficient, proactive and a great problem solver. I think Yumi’s top drawer.”
Yumi’s understanding of commercial production, digital content production and post production offers outstanding support for our editors. Her collaborative approach puts her in a great position to serve the needs of agencies and production companies as she continues to contribute to the growth and success of Rooster Post Production.
“We are very excited to have Yumi on the Rooster Post Production team,” says Partner and Executive Producer, Melissa Kahn, “Yumi’s demonstrated the kind of experience, trust and collaborative approach that makes for an exceptional Executive Producer. Her skill set is beneficial to our editors, clients and productions. In fact, we depend on her to help keep things running smoothly for everyone.”
