Y&R Hires Gavin Bayley to Lead BMO North America

Y&R Canada announced the appointment of Gavin Bayley as Senior Vice President, Global Client Leader for BMO, North America.  Based in Toronto, Bayley will oversee the BMO business across Canada and the United States, working closely with the Y&R Midwest account team in Chicago. 

“Gavin is an industry leader with a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to strategic client management,” said Chris Jordan, President, Y&R Canada. “He brings with him a unique combination of skills and achievements, and we know he will be the perfect fit to help us exceed our client’s needs."

With more than 10 years of executive experience, Bayley has managed multidisciplinary teams, overseen brand strategy, integrated marketing, social media, SEO/SEM and research for a variety of global brands and regional organizations.  In addition to his proven ability to run and grow large and diverse businesses, Bayley is known for his exceptional team building skills, strategic mind and creative sensibilities.

Bayley comes to Y&R from Leo Burnett, where he has been the Account Management Group Head for the last eight years working on clients, such as Kellogg’s, Invesco, Tourism Toronto, Smuckers, BlackBerry and Visa. Prior to Leo Burnett, he worked alongside industry leaders in the automotive and telecom sectors as well as the financial services field at Scotiabank.
