XM Asia Pacific has promoted Vince Lui to the new role of Regional Director of XM Asia Pacific’s Consulting Group, to drive the momentum of this fast-expanding part of the agency’s core business offering.
Lui, who served most recently as Managing Director of XM Asia Pacific, has more than 14 years’ of digital consulting and platform implementation experience. He helped build up XM’s consulting unit, which offers user experience design, technology and digital analytics consulting.
This new appointment reinforces XM Asia’s commitment to be a leader in digital business transformation, to design and build digital solutions and platforms which enable its clients and their agencies to deliver optimised digital experiences.
XM Asia has strategically built up its customer experience consulting practice over the last six years, offering clients tangible, data-driven insight into how to develop or improve their digital presence to better engage consumers.
Last year, XM’s consulting unit made significant investment in setting up a Consumer Experience Lab – a research facility that brings eye-tracking technology to its usability design and validation practice. This allows the consulting group to understand how consumers use web and mobile site, and fine-tune those offerings to best optimise conversion. This year, in recognition of XM Asia’s leadership in Adobe digital marketing consulting, XM is awarded Adobe’s prestigious Adobe Digital Marketing Southeast Asia Partner of the Year Asia 2013.
In his new role, Lui will continue to extend XM’s consulting services across the region, deepen strategic digital marketing and multi-channels commerce solutions partnerships, and pursue new acquisitions and new businesses for the consulting unit.
“I am very excited with this new direction we are charting,” said Lui. “XM is as entrepreneurial as it is established across the region. We will continue to push the boundaries of customer engagement through design, data and technology.”
XM Asia, which is a JWT company, acquired leading digital agency Thomas Idea in Thailand this year, and has operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Hong Kong.
