Wunderman Thompson announced today that Hazel Boyle has been appointed chief people officer, Europe and South Africa, effective 5th November. She will be based in London and will report to Europe and South Africa CEO Ewen Sturgeon.
In this role, Hazel will oversee the people operations and talent management arm of the business across Europe and South Africa. Hazel is a seasoned leader with significant experience in change management, employee relations and organisation development with a proven track record of building people architecture and driving growth across multiple industries including media, financial services, healthcare and hospitality.
Prior to joining Wunderman Thompson, Hazel served as the HR director for Prudential UK and Director of Resourcing for M&G Prudential. In this role, Hazel was responsible for driving and implementing transformation in human resources, in addition to aligning resourcing, executive search and talent under a new acquisition strategy. Before that, Hazel held a number of senior HR roles at broadcaster ITV plc, where she led HR for the broadcasting, commercial and online arm of the organisation.

As chief people officer of Europe and South Africa, Hazel will support 6,500 employees across 76 offices.
